After the successful launch of the First Women’s Invitational Tournament back in 2011, the Hong Kong Hockey Association is proud to continue its effort to develop the national squad by bringing in neighbouring teams in a competitive event.    Likewise, in the Men’s hockey calendar, there is a quadrangular tournament every two years and the last one was just held in December 2012.

The Hong Kong Hockey Association celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.  Established in 1933, the Association has seen the growth of the hockey community from a simple one division men’s hockey league to 13 divisions in men’s and women’s hockey leagues.  5,000 men and women as well as boys and girls, from local Hong Kong and a variety of nationalities, are now actively playing in the open league, school league and mini-hockey clubs.

Media are welcome to cover the tournament and other events organized by the Hong Kong Hockey Association.  For enquiries, please email: hkha@hockey.org.hk or call 2782 4932.
