The Hong Kong Hockey Association is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Mr Fabian Gregory, Head Coach of the Men’s National Squad yesterday. Fabian led the national squad since 2017 and made invaluable contribution to its high performance programme. He was well respected both on and off the field as well as by many around the world. He will be dearly missed by all of us. The Association would like to extend our deepest condolences to Fabian’s family and friends.

 

In view of the prevailing circumstances of Covid-19 and further restrictions on gatherings, the EGM on 10 December 2020 will be rescheduled to another date to be advised as soon as possible.

In view of the latest government restrictions, and the ongoing efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19, all HKHA activities including the men  and women’s winter league, veteran’s league and P&D courses will be suspended from 2 December 2020 until further notice due to closure of LCSD facilities.

Clubs are also advised to adjust any in-house hockey activity accordingly to comply with the government’s restrictions including number of participants and social distancing.

In view of the development of COVID-19 epidemic situation in Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Hockey Association (HKHA) has decided to postpone all hockey training courses from 2 Dec to 16 Dec.

The HKHA will continue to monitor the situation closely. Further arrangement will be announced in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Hong Kong Hockey Association will be held on Thursday 10 December 2020 at 7:00 pm at Club de Recreio for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, to pass two resolutions of the Hong Kong Hockey Association.
