The East Asian Games hockey event commenced today with two matches of the womens competition. Hong Kong womens lost to Japan in the opening match by 0-8 while the second match also saw big scores 9-0 between Korea and Chinese Taipei. Tomorrow will see Hong Kong womens taking on China at 12:00hr and Hong Kong mens play against Japan at 18:45hr.
