A record number of 80 teams will play at the HKFC Mini Hockey Festival this Saturday, 29th November. Teams will be representing schools and clubs from throughout Hong Kong and across the Under 8, Under 10 and U12 age groups. There will be a number of new entries this year as Field Hockey continues to grow in popularity. As always the competition will be tough, with GSIS, Khalsa, KCC, and HKFC looking strong contenders in each of the age groups. However, the aim of the HKFC Mini Hockey Festival is to promote the game, and the high participation numbers reflect the desire for the Club’s Hockey Section to encourage involvement from a wider group of clubs and schools and not to just focus on the elite or established few club or school teams. Entrance to the HKFC Mini Hockey Festival is free and via the HKJC Museum Entrance to the Happy Valley Infield Playing Fields.
Schedule:
Under 8 Tournament – 9:20am – 12:30pm
Under 10 Tournament – 8:00am – 11:15am
Under 12 Tournament – 11:20pm – 1:45pm
