I am pleased to announce that two distinguished members of our hockey community were among the 444 recipients of this years Honours List.
HKHA Patron, Dr Hari Harilela, GBS, JP, was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM) in recognition of his long and distinguished community service, particularly his significant contribution to the well-being of the ethnic minorities in Hong Kong.
Mr. Farooq Saeed was awarded with the Chief Executives Commendation for Community Service for his achievement in international hockey competitions.
The HKHA Council wishes to express our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Hari and Farooq for their awards.
