The annual Interport hockey series between Hong Kong and Macau this year will be played on Sunday 19 June 2011 at the King’s Park Hockey Ground.
The Schedule of matches is as follows:
1230 Veterans – Men
1430 Juniors (U-21) – Boys
1630 Seniors – Men
The past few years saw the Hong Kong and Macau Girls’ Development sides also in action. This time Macau, regrettably, could not raise a side.
Hong Kong will go into this Sunday’s matches to try to defend two titles and wrest the junior title back from Macau. Last year, in Macau, the Hong Kong Veterans won 5-3 and the Seniors 3-1. The Hong Kong Juniors surrendered the trophy to Macau, losing 1-3.
