The Hong Kong Hockey Association (HKHA) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the post of national coach. The national coaches main duties include:
- coach the mens senior and junior squads;
- assist HKHA coach(es) to coach other HKHA squads; &
- develop a development plan and conduct coaching courses for local coaches of different levels.
Applicants should be comfortable in coaching elite teams across all age groups in a multi-cultural environment.
An initial contract of one year is envisaged leading the Hong Kong mens teams for various international/local tournaments including the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China and its qualifying tournament. Contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Detailed terms and conditions to be agreed.
